Moms, Dads & Babies
As most of you already know, there are so many great books on the market that provide helpful “guidelines” and tips of to expecting new moms – not as much for dads – (i.e., What to Expect When Expecting), but I have not found one that specifically addresses all the practical unknowns such as where to buy clothes for you – the newly expecting mom, equipment for great deals, or how your relationship with your spouse will change during your pregnancy and after the baby is here. Also, I have not found any one book or one place that discusses all the taboo topics like what to expect before, during and after the actual birth of your baby.
My husband and I welcomed our son on February 2010 during the 2010 “Snowmageddon,” and we just celebrated his first birthday. The information I hope to provide are my tips, helpful information, and advice based on my own experience.
I am not trying to persuade anyone one way or another on any one issue. Most of the information I provided below are based on personal preferences and you will develop your own as time continues throughout your pregnancy, the birth of your baby, and as your child develops. But I think that just having this information will help you find your way, get to the key resources and ease some of the burdens of parenthood.
I am constantly adding more information and updating the website, so if you would like me to include information or have any great tips yourself, please do not hesitate to comment. If you are interested in more detailed information, I have a pdf book format, please contact me and put in the subject line: “Interested in a copy of the New Moms Survival Tips and Resources” and I will send you a copy via email.
Enjoy and best of luck to you and your family!
